Electrical & Optical Safety Warning: Never look directly into the fiber optic ports or connected fiber cables when the unit is powered on. Invisible laser/infrared radiation can cause permanent eye damage.
Verify Power Requirements: Ensure the AC power source matches the voltage specifications printed on the device label before plugging in the power cord. Unplug the unit immediately if it emits smoke, abnormal noise, or a burning odor.
Ensure Adequate Ventilation: Do not block or cover the ventilation slots on the sides of the metal housing. Maintain at least 5 cm of clearance around the chassis to prevent internal overheating and ensure stable operation.
Protect Physical Cable Connections: Keep protective dust caps installed on the duplex SC fiber ports when no fiber cable is attached. Avoid bending fiber optic cables beyond their minimum bend radius to prevent glass core fracture and signal loss.
Maintain Safe Operating Environment: Install the device in a clean, dry indoor environment free from extreme humidity, direct sunlight, and excessive dust. Keep the converter clear of heavy electromagnetic fields, high-voltage equipment, and liquid sources.
