Avoid Over-Tightening Mounting Screws: When securing the adapter to a wall plate, panel, or bulkhead, tighten the mounting screws until flush and firm. Applying excessive torque can crack the molded PVC ear tabs or strip the internal threading, destroying the adapter's structural mounting capability.
Verify Behind-Wall Depth Clearance: Before permanently mounting this coupler into a hollow wall or enclosed junction box, ensure there is adequate physical clearance behind the panel to accommodate both the adapter’s 2.1 cm depth and the natural bend radius of the rear HDMI cable. Forcing a cable into a sharp 90° bend against a wall or stud will damage the cable's internal conductors and cause immediate signal degradation.
Do Not Use as a Cable Tension Anchor: This coupler is designed to link two independent cables. It should never be used as a structural anchor point to support heavily weighted cables hanging freely across long vertical distances.
