Power Supply: Use only the included DC 5V power adapters. Connecting an improper voltage supply may cause permanent damage or void the warranty.
Cable Selection: Use high-quality, pure copper Cat5e or Cat6 unshielded/shielded twisted pair (UTP/STP) ethernet cabling for optimal performance and to achieve the full 60m transmission distance. Avoid using CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) cables for long runs.
Proper Grounding & ESD Protection: Ensure all connected devices (NVRs, PCs, monitors) are properly grounded to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) from damaging sensitive IC components over the network cable.
Ventilation & Environment: Install the units in a well-ventilated, dry environment. Do not place the transmitter or receiver on high-heat surface sources, near water, or in areas exposed to direct sunlight or rain.
Hot-Plugging Avoidance: Turn off power to both units before connecting or disconnecting the RJ45 network cable or HDMI sources to prevent potential HDMI handshake issues or circuit overload.
Do Not Disassemble: Do not attempt to open or modify the metallic casing. Servicing should be referred to authorized technical personnel only.
