Important Safety Instructions:

• Utilize Proper Power Sources: Ensure the camera is powered strictly via a compliant Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector/switch (IEEE 802.3af) or a regulated 12V DC ±25% power supply. Using an incorrect or unstable voltage source can permanently damage the internal CMOS sensor or circuit board.
• Verify Waterproofing During Installation: While the camera features an IP67 weatherproof rating, all outdoor cable connections—especially the RJ45 Ethernet tail—must be sealed using the included waterproof cable gland or an airtight junction box to prevent water ingress and cable corrosion.
• Handle the Optical Lens with Care: Avoid touching the front camera lens directly with your fingers. Structural grease or fingerprints left on the glass can cause infrared glare, blurring, or light reflection issues during night vision operations. Clean only with a microfiber cloth and specialized lens cleaner.
• Ensure Secure Structural Mounting: Install the camera onto solid, vibration-free surfaces (such as concrete, solid wood, or structural metal pillars). Loose mounting can cause shaky video feeds, trigger false motion alarms, or present a physical falling hazard in high-wind environments.
• Avoid Direct Exposure to Extreme Heat: Do not point the lens directly into the sun or high-intensity laser beams for extended periods, as this can burn out the 5MP digital sensor. Ensure the mounting location provides adequate ventilation away from exhaust vents, compressors, or industrial heaters.
• Disconnect Power Before Maintenance: Always shut down the network port power (PoE) or unplug the 12V DC power adapter before physical cleaning, adjusting the 3-axis mounting bracket, or performing hardware maintenance to prevent accidental electrical static discharge.
